THE LIFE AND DEATH OF A PORN GANG (I ZIVOT SMRT PORN TAPE)
WARNING! This review reveals some details of the film.
First movie selection "Subversive Serbia," THE LIFE AND DEATH OF A PORN GANG serves us nothing less than a sexual orgy as a result of psychotropic medication, a man pissing in the face of a woman, a rape scene collective committed by the elderly, turned graphic murders as "Snuff movies", a drag queen doing oral sex on a donkey and so on ... Everything to the amateur in poor taste that lies within us. They look to much fun in Serbia! I\'d go spend a family vacation ...
If the room was not packed Saturday night, the audience of our festival was, as usual, energetic and eager for thrills. The director Mladen Djordjevic (present at the screening) has spoiled it with his new film, a road movie trash smelling nose full of semen, excrement, vomit and hemoglobin. Recounting the story of a young director named Marko Serbian who can not get his films financed, Djordjevic depicts a cruel society and chaotic, which makes no room for outsiders who constitute it. Forced to make pornographic films for a living, Marko rapidly sinks into depression. When watching a play rather boring, Marko has the idea to launch its first theater porn office of Serbia.
He then formed a band composed of actors from the porn, heroin addicts and homosexuals with AIDS, and went on the road in the country to present its decadent cabaret.
Obviously, this "Porno Gang" will find many obstacles in their path, facing the incomprehension and disgust of many.
Driven to the wall, they will accept the offer of a strange character who offers them to pay handsomely if they filmed real murders him.
Here begins a descent into hell that will take them far from the route originally planned.
Adopting a similar aesthetic of documentary, it is not always easy to distinguish between reality and fiction in the film Djordjevic. Thus, the famous scene of bestial Fell ation Ellement seem real that the director was forced to reassure an audience during the question and explain that the penis of the animal was a fake.
Same thing for the goat slaughtered when he noted that the blood was fake. Thus, depending on the tolerance of an individual, a scene can shock a person and fun at the same moment his neighbor.
For although the film obviously put on provocation, THE LIFE AND DEATH is also a social satire vitriolic really hilarious.
The film can still pay at certain times in the melodrama, especially at the very end, which makes some people strangely touching.
Si certaines longueurs se font ressentir à la dernière bobine, THE LIFE AND DEATH demeure au final un film très intéressant et très divertissant. Some lengths themselves at the last reel, THE LIFE AND DEATH remains ultimately a very interesting film and very entertaining.
He portrays a truly original way the horrors that the Serbs have lived during the war, but avoids brilliantly knock us out with this heavy topic or give us a lecture.
Moreover, despite the abundance of pornographic or violent scenes mentioned above, the film never in the dark free ... Okay, maybe a little bit. But is it really wrong? Free synonymous with generosity, no?
